The Trojan Manufacturing Group was established in 1996 as Trojan Hardware and Designs Ltd to design and deliver hardware solutions that offer tangible benefits in terms of innovation, security and operational performance. 15 years on, it has bases in the UK and China and continues to exceed the expectations of its customers with its commitment to quality and service.
Its UK bases, which include its state-of-the-art headquarters in Bloxwich, West Midlands, house sales, administration, design and development functions, plus pressure zinc die casting, injection moulding, presswork, tool design and tooling facilities.
Trojan China was formed in 2002 and is based in Suzhou in 9640m_ state-of-the-art premises. Its remit is to complement and strengthen the UK facilities and Trojan UK and Trojan China work jointly on all new products and the development of existing ones.
Product ranges
The Trojan range of window and door furniture is one of the best in the industry. Featuring handles, hinges, espags and shootbolts, including the industry-renowned Stallion 2 shootbolt, every product is designed to offer benefits to both the consumer and the installer. All products have the reassurance of being designed and manufactured by an ISO 9001:2008 accredited company and all have been tested and accredited to ensure they meet or exceed industry standard requirements.
One of the company's biggest recent successes has been its Elite range of all-stainless steel letterplates, door handles, hinges, letters, numbers and door knockers which all come with an astonishing 25 year guarantee thanks to their corrosion resistance. All the products in the range display Trojan's talent for innovative and stylish design. The letterplate has flaps that open to 180 degrees, eliminating the possibility of excess leverage on the pivot points and extending the lifespan. The t-hinge offers fully 3D adjustment and linear compression. It uses the same 'lift on/lift off' principle as a conventional flag hinge so there are no loose fiddly parts, making fitting quicker and easier. The stainless steel door handle incorporates a patented spring cassette, which prevents the familiar "drooping handle" effect.
The Elite range has recently been joined by the Combi range, which brings the benefits of stainless steel to projects with smaller budgets and was introduced in response to customer feedback. The Standard option has stainless steel external faces and standard white inner faces while the Premium option has stainless steel external faces and zinc chrome or gold PVD inner faces.
Other recent innovations include the trillion door hinge and the Tilt safe tilt and turn handle to complement the existing range. The Trillion door hinge has a unique design that doesn't use reinforced sections yet still achieves PAS 24, something that improves its environmental credentials without compromising on strength. An all-stainless steel construction gives it ultimate corrosion resistance and strength and means that Trojan can offer a 25+ year corrosion and mechanical guarantee.
Whilst Trojan always seeks to develop new products and solutions it also constantly seeks to improve existing ones. A new anti-droop spring cassette, which doesn't rely on the spindle or door lock to give a perfectly aligned handle every time and comes with a ten year guarantee, has recently been introduced on all its white, gold PVD and chrome door handles.

Trojan works extremely hard to ensure that the quality of its service matches the quality of its products. The Group aims to be both proactive and reactive to help support customers. Its sales team is made up of experienced, friendly and professional individuals who are on hand to support customers and answers any questions they may have relating to products or orders.
